Soren Bennick Productions is now doing preview performances for Rumpus Reading Room, a musical production for grades K-3. This 40-minute production features five original songs and tells the story of Darrell, an active, outgoing young boy who doesn't like to read. Darrell travels to the mysterious world of Libraria where he meet Batilda, the book fairy. With Batilda's help, Darrell gains a new appreciation for books and finally learns to read.

Soren Bennick Productions will is also doing preview performances of Go Ask Alicia, a new Cyber Bullying performance. Designed as a follow-up show to the Power of One, this new anti-bullying presentation explores the consequences of cyber bullying, the steps children need to take if and when they are bullied on line, and the ever-increasing ability of authorities to trace and identify on-line perpetrators. Suitable for children in grades four and older, Soren Bennick's cyber bullying show is serious, direct in its messaging, and compelling in its presentation.

For September 2010, Soren Bennick is also working on a musical about Diversity and Tolerance. Written for years K-3, this as yet untitled production features six original songs and follows the adventures of a group of animals living together in the forest. Each animal is unique and has a special talent; all must work together; And everyone must deal with the hungry, grumpy bear who has recently moved into the neighbourhood.
